Cute and ready to find a new home. Could Willow be the one for you? Photos: Supplied.

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Willow and MC are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Willow

Willow has a cute smiley face and a load of love to give! This sweet, young girl has a lovely personality and has the best time cuddling with her human friends. When Willow isn’t cuddling up to you, you’ll often find her lying down patiently waiting for you to scratch her tummy.

This cutie pie loves to go on her daily walks with our volunteers and we’ve been told she’s a darling to stroll with. Like most young dogs, Willow has some basic good manners but would always benefit from continuing training outside of the Shelter environment. This friendly pooch is a sucker for a treat and will sit up straight for the good stuff.

Willow isn’t too fond of other female dogs, so her ideal home with be with a friendly male doggy companion who loves to chase and play. Willow loves tennis balls and squeaky toys, making her a great pal for playtime.

Willow has boundless energy and is a bit of an escape artist, so it will be important for her new family to have very high fencing or an enclosed dog run to ensure she doesn’t wander away from home.

MC

MC is purring away while she waits to find her new family.

Cat of the Week – MC

Looking for an MC? This cat could be the gal for you! MC is a sweet meowing girl who knows what she wants, with a little sass and no fear in showing it. Like most cats, MC loves a good pat and is looking for a family to take over.

Chin rubs and scratches galore are a huge requirement of any family that MC chooses. MC isn’t too fussed being held or picked up, but she really needs a family willing to respect her boundaries and let her take control.

MC is the kind of selfish cat that doesn’t like her feline friends. She’ll prefer to live in a home where she is the only pet in the household. This little lady requires a nice, quiet home with one or two adults and some responsible teens.

As you can see MC has a lovely pink nose which means she’ll need to live as an indoor-only cat. This fancy feline certainly doesn’t want any sunburn on her beautiful features. If you think MC could be your kind of cat, come and speak with our team and meet her!

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
