King of the RSPCA? It’s not even a debate – meet Zeus! Photos: RSPCA ACT.

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Zeus, Grace and Casey are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Zeus

The beauty of the yard. Zeus is looking for his perfect companion.

Zeus is one of those special dogs that melts your heart the moment you see him. He’s a loving and playful boy. He’ll love his cuddle time with you, and not much makes him happier than a belly rub and kisses.

Don’t expect that kind of love from him in the yard, though. Zeus transforms into a playful, energetic husky who is very content spending time on his own. He will be more than happy to run around on his own with his favourite things, toys and treats! Once you’re back inside, he’ll be ready for chilled out cuddles again.

Zeus’s independence makes him different from the typical husky and perfect for someone who doesn’t want a needy dog. Zeus would also suit an active owner who would be happy to burn off some energy with him on their daily walk. If you have experience with big dogs, particularly huskies, you will find a great companion in Zeus.

The puuurfect pair.

Cats of the Week – Grace and Casey

Grace and Casey were originally surrendered to us by a member of the public who was feeding approximately 10 cats.

When they first came to us, the girls were incredibly shy and timid, avoiding being near humans and hiding away in their corner. With time, love, compassion and care, these girls came out of their shells.

Though they have made great progress, they are still shy little girls. They’re excited and happy to see you; however, they’re still jumpy with quick movements. They are a bonded pair, so we would love to see them adopted out as a pair.

They would suit a home with someone who understands cats well, someone who can take the time to allow them to adapt to their new home and their new family. If this sounds like you, then Grace and Casey want to meet you.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
