Many people in the community say they have not enough information about the carbon tax and its implications for Australians, for the environment and for the planet. This forum aims to discuss the details of climate change and the proposed carbon tax. Make the effort to attend and judge for yourself what impacts we all face and what we personally can do to optimise our situation.

This conference has been organised by Steve O’Connor (0401723466), Belinda Morgan Pratten (0409428902), and Trish Wilkinson (62279624) of the SayYes team.

I admit to being a little confused by all the conflicting reports in the media but have luckily found the following glossary that has helped me understand:

http://www.australianclimatemadness.com/2011/08/labor-climate-change-glossary/

But I thought the debate was over and the science was settled. What is this all about?

“Carbon price”? What’s that? Is Julia shying away from “tax” again?

I will come along and count how many of these committed environmentalist speakers arrive by public transport or bicycle … any flying in from interstate?
