Melbourne-based rock band Scaramouche will return to their hometown of Canberra for the first time in almost twelve months on Saturday 1 September, where they will showcase a blistering set of new tunes at Transit Bar before setting off on an East Coast tour.
Scaramouche have just finished recording a new EP which captures the essence of the band’s sizzling live show and marks a heavier, edgier sound that still retains Scaramouche’s characteristic swagger. The band has also just shot a video clip to support the new EP and will commence an extensive East Coast tour in September.
Scaramouche has already stirred much excitement as an upcoming professional band with a unique flair for showmanship and talent. Their first EP Access Denied landed them on national community radio stations across Australia, and since then they have given live performances and interviews on TV programs and radio stations, appeared in Australian Guitar magazine and were ranked 2nd in the Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) National Awards.
Scaramouche will rock the stage with special guests on Saturday 1 September at Transit Bar, 7 Akuna Street, Canberra. Entry is $10.
