Looking for some fun on a Monday night?

Want an excuse to eat chicken schnitzel rather than cooking at home?

Like to yell out ‘spatula’ when someone asks the audience to suggest a kitchen utensil?

Schnitz and Giggles is a free, improvised comedy show in the style of ‘Whose line is it anyway’ playing every Monday night at 6:30pm at the Helenic Club in the city (13 Moore Street).

Join us to have all your questions answered by the ‘Tomb of Knowledge’, catch up on the latest from the ‘Schnitz Street’ soap opera and see all the latest $1 DVDs recreated for you in ‘Video Cheezy’.

Is this still happening? Can someone share a URL to something showing it’s happening tonight, pls?

I dunno… recent comedy gigs have received unwelcome press coverage… is it likely I’m gonna hafta walk out because of an unseemly joke?

This sounds good. I might go check it out.

The Hellenic Club in the city have been putting on bands lately and it has been really fun there. The staff are very friendly and I intend to go back often whilst they put on shows.

They also have a 1Kg steak challenge that an awesome staff member named Lenny was telling me all about on Friday. I plan to do this soon and have my photo up on the wall.

The Duty Manager from Friday named Simon is a Muso and a good bloke as well. Keep up the good work Hellenic Club!

Yeah, we’ve not had any trouble with patrons at the club so far (touch wood). Hope we’ll see you there!

I love improv, when it’s done well, and I love chicken schnitties… Shame I don’t like going out in the city, but it’s on Monday nights I guess, so it’s not likely to be mobbed by an army of funk drucks.
