YouTube brings us an unintentionally hilarious look at Saturday night’s wrestling at the Lyneham netball centre. Here we see the dance of Jason “The Enigma” Tyler and Champion Adam Gambino.

If the sight of large men having a bit of a choreographed cuddle floats your boat (with lots of bonus blood) you can learn more from the Pro Wrestling Alliance Canberra website.

Most stage shows, the performers don’t have to get out and set up the props during the act.

Just out of curiosity, do these guys have to take test for blood born diseases before the fights? Professional football would have a blood bin rule well before the end of the fight….

keep your grotty imagination away from me!

whilst the outfits are not particularly complementary and the medium being quite open for a good knocking, I have noticed over the past few years that these guys have developed a dedicated and relatively professional approach to providing entertainment for this niche market in canberra.

i reckon they deserve some kudos for that.

i can actually picture a number of riotacters relaxing in wrestling outfits behind closed doors.

ew.

That was…. really…. really…. bad 😛

I’m pleased to see the category is “entertainment”… and not sport

what a load of crap

But thats like complaining about an episode of Friend or Macbeth being predictable – pro wrestling is not a sport, its a comedic/dramatic performance (albeit not always a high quality one).

I agree is often hilarious, but I’d say thats intentional – half the fun of pro-wrestling is the fact that everyones in on the joke.

Remember when Neighbours was running that story not long ago with Toadie the wrestler? This story conjures up similar images.

Now that’s a show which has seriously jumped the shark.

rugby scrums are a lot less predictable than this stuff.

If the sight of large men having a bit of a choreographed cuddle floats your boat…

Then go watch a rugby scrum.
