Foxsports have the terrible tale of the Raiders humiliation playing at home against the mid table Wests Tigers.

Next week they’ll be going up against their all time losing streak! Twenty five years ago expectations were a touch lower perhaps.

Who? What? Oh, football. Bleah, who cares. It’s just men running around kicking their balls. Now they could make it more exciting of the ball contained a device that randomly distributed electric shocks to players and the players all had to swim across a moat to score a point. Also, how could we work elephants and drag queens into the game. That would be far more interesting. Actually why not just get rid of the balls all together and have interviews with the players about how much they stuff up all the time? Even more interesting than the elephants and drag queens. They could score bonus points for a classy walk out.
Really, there are more exciting things to watch than football.

as much as i dont like furner as coach even through the teams run last year i will give him some credit for stepping aside with his australian coaching duties to help the team. I know furner wears his heart on his sleeve but he should also take that into account and ask himself if he is the best man for the job or should he step aside. I am sure he would still be employed by the raiders in some capacity but id have to ask why a old forward cant get his forwards playing. Dugan although he scored 2 tries seems to think he has achieved everything already and needs to take some blame for his mistakes as well before everyone jumps on orfords back. I do feel a little sorry for orford as he was copping it from everywhere when the real problem is our forwards and our defence. a halfback cant play if he forwards dont lay the platform

People pay money and give up family time to go and see the Raiders and as a long time supporter (20 years) I certainly wont be attending anymore games until they improve or at least try in a game. Yesterdays performance was hideous with people getting up and leaving the stadium. No they are NOT improving, bring up the rookies and start again.
