Awesome! We’ve evolved (regressed?) back into cyclists vs cars! It’s been a day or two since this was ‘discussed’ in a thread….!

It’s the Riot Act Law. Every thread no matter what it’s about will eventually become a motorist v cyclist debate.

+1 and LOL

Or something about negative gearing, renting vs buying, something something homelessness.

Especially homeless people. Why can’t they get there own blog going?

Oh good, just what you need before everyone hits the roads…

Slow down, Canberra.

Unless you’re wearing a fluoro shirt and driving a ute. In which case, tail gate as close as you possibly can at high speed. Swerve between lanes and change tail gating targets as you pressure those suckers that do the speed limit to go faster and possibly be forced to tail gate the car in front of them.

Don’t forget to flip off people as well.

To be fair, I think you would find that just as many tailgaters fall into the ‘self-entitled executive’ stereotype.

They can usually be spotted driving a black Lexus or Beemer about half a foot away from your car’s anus.

Very true.

You forgot the Mazda 3’s and 6’s. They seem to be the moron drivers car of the year for 2011.

Debate?

There is no debate on that one – it is absolutely true! LOL

Of course there is a debate, a mass debate

I am so glad I got the warning, almost missed the two drops that fell in Macgregor if I hadn’t been outside anticipating it all. Maybe tomorrow we’ll not have to water the garden….

I got 24 mm and it made a monster mess. However, the storms formed and collapsed with amazing speed. I’m still a bit amazed by it all.

If someone mentions cars vs cyclists then they lose the thread and the conversation is over: Bimbogeek’s Lemma of Godwin’s Law in action.

Storms, Cyclists vs Cars….we just need some popcorn.

And if you’re riding a bike go straight through the red lights, avoid bike paths and ride on the road wherever possible.

Let’s see some more nice pics of bolts if possible!

Also be sure to tear across pedestrian crossings.

I reckon it will miss us. Cooma is getting nailed though if you look at the radar at 3:19pm

That system seems to have been basically circling Canberra for the last few hours. Should make the ride home interesting. Can I plot a path in between the spots of red on the radar?
