gate signage

PantsMan had to share this one with us:

The repeated destruction of the gate on the old Dairy Flat Road appears to have pushed one ACT Roads employee too far.

…rather than some random vandal

Some random vandal brought along their welder then gave it a coat of green paint did they?

Not sure how you came to conclusion that a roads act person did it rather than some random vandal. It looks like all it says is f off ya idiot, but not directed at anyone in particular or give directions for people to stop doing something..

I remember seeing one down near Bega years ago that said “shut the gate or piss off!”

Back when Dairy Flat Rd was “the” road, there was a farm along there with a farm gate, upon which hung a home-made fibro sign saying Shut The Bloody Gate. Back in the days when “bloody” was a serious swear-word, it caused considerable comment in the local media, but the sign stayed up.
