ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an incident in McKellar today (Wednesday, February 20) in which a man suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
Around 11.31am police were called to the residential address after reports of a firearm being discharged. They arrived to find an injured 39-year-old man outside the home in Tipping Place, McKellar.
The man was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
A woman was taken into custody and is assisting police with enquiries. A rifle was recovered from the scene and is undergoing forensic analysis.
