Shot in McKellar

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an incident in McKellar today (Wednesday, February 20) in which a man suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Around 11.31am police were called to the residential address after reports of a firearm being discharged. They arrived to find an injured 39-year-old man outside the home in Tipping Place, McKellar.

The man was conveyed to The Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.

A woman was taken into custody and is assisting police with enquiries. A rifle was recovered from the scene and is undergoing forensic analysis.

Fun and hijinks in McKellar. What great neighbours! Hopefully it was the idiot who parks with gay abandon. Apparently driving with a gun wound is ill-advised. Get well soon!
