Simon Corbell slow with answers

You may remember that quite some time ago now I put out a call for questions for an email interview with Simon Corbell. This was after I had confirmed with his media person, Monika Boogs, that he was willing to participate.

I emailed the questions to Ms Boogs on Wednesday March 15 at 10.16am. She confirmed she had received the questions and said she would pass them on to Mr Corbell.

On March 5 I sent her another email saying I was wondering how Simon was going with the questions and that it would be good if he could return them soon. It should be noted that I sent this reminder after three weeks, where I had only waited two weeks to remind Vicki Dunne about her interview.

Ms Boogs said she would check with Mr Corbell and get back to me soon. I have not heard back from her since.

I don’t know about you, but I think that taking more than six and a half weeks to answer 10 questions is a bit excessive. I thought a politician would jump at the opportunity to converse with their constituents directly and find out what is important to people. (Plus I think Simon needs a haircut, if his recent appearances on TV are anything to go by).

If you would like Mr Corbell to answer your questions, I suggest emailing either Ms Boogs (monika.boogs@act.gov.au) or Mr Corbell (corbell@act.gov.au).
