The Canberra Times has mischievously asked Simon Corbell what lessons he’s learned from his disastrous personal vote in the election. Somewhat surprisingly he thinks voters have shown “a lot of confidence in all the Labor candidates”. Even Mick Gentleman Simon?

“I’m very pleased to have still received a strong level of support despite the fact that Katy Gallagher picked up more of the primary votes that would have perhaps have gone to myself and Andrew [Barr] and other Labor candidates.”

ElectionsACT reports Simon scored .4 of a quota with 4585 primary votes.

I used to hate his planning decisions, but I’ve come to realise it got worse after they took planning away from him.

This is pretty much how I feel.

Unless you did all the greens first you vote still probably went to elect Corbell 🙂

Yeah, I know. I don’t have a problem with a little bit of my vote getting to him, but if labor was to lose a MLA in Molonglo, Corbell would be my pick, by a long margin…

As a labor voter who despises the greens…

I picked Corbell after Rattenbury…

He has a beautiful smile!

I’ve warmed up to him a bit.
