I feel like some, what restaurant in Canberra does the best ?
Golden Dragon in Manuka have a pretty extensive selection of live seafood. Not sure if Singapore Chilli Crab is on the menu but they basically cook whatever you want so I’m sure they’ll make a nice one.
I haven’t tried their crab, but La Pasa in the city do good Singaporean food. I’m struggling to think of another specifically Singaporean restaurant in Canberra, but would love to be informed of more. Otherwise, Noble Palace in Woden usually have a selection of fresh seafood, including giant crabs, as do Ruby in Dickson.
My place (if I do say so myself).
dammit – now I feel like some. todays tuna salad may meet an unfortunate end.
Rubys in Dickson do a great chilli crab.
do it yourself, it’s a pretty simple recipe and much cheaper and tastier than dining out.
Worth a penny to have someone else clean up afterwards though!
Yeah, would rather someone else clean up!
If you need live mudcrabs, checkout a new canberra supplier of live mudcrabs direct from Northern Territory called Mr. Crab
They opened up in May 2011 and get live mudcrabs every Tuesday
Canberrans are being urged to conserve water as the drought deepens. Should we have permanent water restrictions like Perth does?
