Siri wipes Canberra from the map

The really cool thing about the iPhone 5, in the US, is its very low price. So we were surprised to see people queuing to pay top dollar for it here.

But perhaps more surprising the the above iOS 6 image from Roz which will come as a great surprise to Westpac customers and staff in Canberra.

Tony Abbott’s probably wishing they’d do something similar for Whyalla.

It’s just a very naughty toy.

I’m hoping that they log all the interactions Siri has because I get somewhat animated when she proves how dumb she is. Hopeless.

Not too may problems with mapping though.

BTW, your phone is not the Messiah

Just got an iPhone (previous model) and I’m really confused what all the hype is about? They are pretty darn good phones, but all phones are if they want to compete. As a smart phone, it’s got nothing on my Streak, excluding size.

WIN!

On a plan though right?

In Australia I can get one with no money out of pocket at JB Hifi (and a 2 year contract).

The liner uppers are getting theirs outright.

(No, I don’t have one).

Good luck finding your way to Ulladulla, Apple’s Google Maps replacement is by most accounts pretty crappy at this stage of development.
