The ABC has an interesting story on the rise of complaints against ACT Policing officers:

In category three, 33 of the complaints related to a serious breach of the AFP Code of Conduct, three involved criminal conduct and two were listed as excessive force.

As a result of investigations six officers were dismissed, seven received formal warnings, one was reprimanded, and one was suspended without pay.

There has been an upward trend in established complaints in category three.

The figures jumped from six in 2010 to 55 last financial year.
