Probably a coincidence that a jet had flown over only minutes prior to the smell being noticed inside.

The ambulance officers did ask if anyone had inhaled any smoke, but there was no smoke to inhale. Many of the people from the building actually reported that it smelt more like aviation fuel.

Avgas or kerosene?

He who smelt it dealt it.

That’s just terrible wording, as if the Ambos are neglecting care.

How about “but have not been required to treat anyone”.
