Smiles and sighs as Brumbies lose ‘the unlosable’ to the Rebels in icy conditions

By Lachlan Roberts 17 May 2018 0

The Brumbies “lost the unlosable” to the Melbourne Rebels in front of a meager 5,283 fans at GIO Stadium on Saturday night, after they let a strong lead slip through their grasp.

The ACT Super Rugby side’s chances of playing finals are in tatters after a Reece Hodge last-minute kick from the sideline stole the game from the Brumbies 27-24.

Local photographer Ben Appleton from Photox was at the game to capture all the action on and off the field.

Scroll through the photos below and see if you or your friends had their photo taken last Saturday night.
