So what is "Ghosting in Canberra"?

guitarhero246 has posted this for our enjoyment on YouTube with the following note:

“I know, I know. The first thing you’ll probably think is “That’s not ghosting!”, but it started off properly, but it got a bit out of hand. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!!!”

I’ve spent a whole ten minutes scouring the internet and can’t find any mention of this sort of ghosting. Anyone else got any ideas?

UPDATE: Thanks to Fnaah for pointing out that, like so many bad ideas, Hamish and Andy are responsible.

Whats with all the Hamish and Andy bashing? I agree that Rove (both man and show) are lame-a-dame, but Hamish and Andy’s radio show is tops.

I remember liking Rove’s show when it first started. It was so crap it was on at 11:30 at night during the week. Then it went all mainstream, and lost the only real appeal that it had. That, and he started interviewing people from australian big idol brother.

Anything associated with Rove sucks. I wish I had four arms so I could give it four thumbs down.

The best part is the Beavis & Butthead laugh coming from behind the camera.

At least they’re getting some exercise.

Poptop..does tired translate to ‘still drunk?’ :p

Ghosties are so much better. That’s where you ride your bmx, wearing your flanny tied around your waist, and you eject off the back of it and see how far the bike keeps going for, sans rider. It’s a great way to sort out the age old argument of ‘who’s got the best bike?’.

It’s Friday, we’re tired. =-P

Boy, things must be quiet out there in the RiotACT blogosphere if this is the best we can come up with.

So it’s being a cockhead, and when done en-masse simulating a mugging?

It’s a Hamish and Andy / Rove thing. The idea is that you try and walk as closely behind someone while imitating their walk, for as long as you can without them noticing.

The only time it was even vaguely funny was when one of them had the balls to try it on a Chinese soldier during the Olympics.
