I have seen a sign…..

Somewhere on the Parkway from Woden to Civic, I’ve seen a sign advertising a Southside Farmers Market, I think Ainsworth St Mawson, starting sometime in October. But I’m always driving in the right lane at speed with kids in the back seat, so can’t read it properly.

Anyone got the details?

Does anyone know when the markets start in 07

does any one know anything about a market at CIT Ried?

Pvr, is right the Market does run between 9-12, the main crowd is there between 9-1030. i got a lettuce for $1 last week, cheap and sooo fresh

THe signs say 9am-12pm. But the place was busy by 9am, so I’m people were there earlier.

Thanks pjp … any time of the opening and closing times?

G’day,
The market is on every sunday at the same location, CIT Southside Campus Ainsworth St Phillip. The first Market had 29 stall holders with a range of fruit and veg as well as meats and fis, honey Olive products breads flowers and plants. There are already more stall holders lined up for this weekend, come and check it out.

Did anyone manage to go to these markets?
Would love to hear what it was like and when the next one is on (same location I hope)?

Took a different way to work and saw lots more signs on Adelaide Ave, with traffic slow enough that I could read them.

October 8 at CIT campus in Ainsworth Street.

Yip-yay! Hope they have bananas!

No, but the signs will be gone soon. Whoever enforces this sort of illegal roadside advertising is usually pretty quick to remove them…..
