SPAR Ngunnawal rolled again

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an armed robbery of the SPAR Express Supermarket in Ngunnawal last night (Saturday, May 11).

Around 8.50pm two men, both armed with a knife, entered the supermarket on Jabanungga Avenue and demanded money from the female cashier.

The employee has complied with the demands and the offenders left with a till drawer containing a sum of money.

The first offender is described as Caucasian, approximately 6’ tall (183cm), with a medium build and an Australian accent. He was wearing dark-coloured clothing.

The second offender is described as having an Australian accent, shorter than the first offender (approximately 5’7” or 170cm tall), with a solid build.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, was in the area of the SPAR Express or who can identify the offenders is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
