Someone going to some lengths to stay anomymous has pointed at us the Canberra Times reporting on the “pitch perfect” entries to the Canberra Marketing Forum.

In further proof that the Canberra Times is lame we can show all three with a NSFW warning on Gray’s entry.

And so we have from Gray (NSFW remember) The Greens:

ZOO’s pitch for the Liberals:

And this from Adcorp for Labor:

So which one did you like the best?

First two were pretty funny, last one seemed kind of pointless.

I can’t find any site taking bets on the ACT election (or even giving odds for that matter)… Anyone know?

You forgot one Johnboy. There should be a radio button for “Can’t decide, they are all lame.”

I mean seriously, this is teh best people can come up with?????

Those were absolutely hopeless.

Embarrassing.

All of the ads are lame – just like the three products on offer.

What is a folding green? I’m lost.

It’s usually a euphemism for money, but I haven’t re-watched the ad to check if that meaning would be appropriate in the context.

i thought it might be golfing talk

cant vote either – ZOO is the cleverest in my view (if i understood what a folding green was) but none of them are truly excellent. back to the drawing board i say.

fixed now. go for it guys.

What is a folding green? I’m lost.

it’s The Greens for a start.

So ads #1 (Gray/Greens) and 2 (Zoo/Lib) tell me The Greens are the team to beat. Ad #3 (Adcorp/Lab) is a plum served in a gentleman’s hat (i.e. bonkers).

Very poor efforts all-round. 100% smear/smarm, 0% policy. I would not engage any of these agencies if I were involves (but the faux Jim Henson’s pretty convincing).

Can’t vote! The whole voting area seems to be hyperlinked to the CT link.

I liked Gray’s best anyway. 🙂
