This just in from the Photowalkers

Photowalk is a chance for any person no matter what age or ability to get together and have a lovely walk, get some fresh air and meet other photographically minded people. It is meant to be all inclusive whether you own a DSLR, a compact or just a phone-cam.

These walks happen once every 3 months; one Photowalk per season so by the end of each year we will have a lovely collection of images to be proud of.

IT IS NOT A COMPETITION. It is just a way to meet other interesting people to learn a little bit and to have a cuppa at the end.

Ownership of the images will be retained by each individual and each person is urged to share their creationsin the Flickr group with family and friends.

The first walk was on Saturday the 19th November 2011 and this next walk on the 30th September at 3pm will be our fourth. We are going to meet just before 3pm at bridge near café in the ANBG and participants need to remember to bring coins for the parking.

Just observing the work of great photographers like Marty-O rubs off on all of us.
She loved the morning.

ANBG tip: there are some great vistas to the lake and the tower from up the top, framed nicely by mature trees. And lots of close-up opportunities now with spring…
