Did anyone else catch Stanhope on the BBC World service last night? It would have been around midnight or so and he was interviewed with Terry Hicks following Stanhope’s nomination of Hicks for the Australian Father of the Year.
Hicks came across quite well, slightly embarrassed in fact but Stanhope just made a fool of himself going off on a diatribe about the evils of Guantanamo – he spoke 3 times and each time the interviewer (wising up quickly) cut him off and either went back to Hicks or ultimately onto the following item.
