Police are searching for the owners of several bikes believed to have been stolen, and a man has been charged over their alleged theft.
Officers had received a report that a secured bike had been stolen from the Cook shops at about 3:05 pm last Friday (28 April).
A review of CCTV footage led police to the alleged offender, who was arrested at a Kaleen home at about 10:30 am on Tuesday (2 May).
A 27-year-old man, who is subject to two good behaviour orders, has been charged with one count of theft.
Officers recovered a further 10 bikes from the Kaleen residence, which are also suspected to have been stolen.

Canberrans have been reminded they can register details of their bike, including the serial number, description and photos, via the free Bikelinc database. This information can help police reunite owners with their bicycles.
Bikelinc is a joint initiative with Crime Stoppers ACT, and is safe, secure and confidential. The searchable online database allows anyone to check if a bike is registered as safe, lost or stolen.
