So that’s 2011 done and dusted. In late December we took a look at the most read stories of the year.

Unlike the rest of Canberra’s media we’ve always made a habit of sharing our readership data. So here’s how Google Analytics rates our 2011 compared to 2010.

    — Visits: 3,320,398. Up from 2,463,467 a 35% growth.

    — Unique Visitors: 1,063,255. Up from 903,478 for 18% growth.

    — Pageviews: 10,831,181 up from 6,465,119 a growth of 68% !

So that was a pretty good year for us. Our thanks to everyone who’s contributed and to you dear reader for sticking around.

If you have been enjoying the website then might we suggest you reward yourself with a premium membership to help pay the bills and preserve our editorial integrity?

Go on, it will make you more attractive to your preferred gender and frankly our premium members make like bandits with freebie swag (kegs of beer, tickets to events, bottles of wine).

Joel Monaghan …

Note to self: do not use words like ‘juicy’ without checking the possible implications first.
