So that was November

Here’s our monthly review of where the site’s going and what people are coming here for. A four day weekend at the start of the month did us no favours and there was a lack of elections, murders, retail outlet openings, or building collapses.

Well you can’t win them all.

Key Stats:

Visits: 119,713, down from 134,106
Pageviews: 349,716, down from 400,976
Absolute unique visitors: 44,668, down from 51,899

Housekeeping

While I’ve got you here a few house-keeping announcements.

If you’re one of the tens of thousands of Canberrans enjoying reading RiotACT perhaps you should consider supporting us? You can just make a donation

Alternatively you could take out a premium subscription, and get the much sought after RiotACT pin.

If you have goods or services to advertise you can advertise with us.

Failing that Facebookers can just become a fan. We like fans.

Fun stuff

Enough to know why the change in what happened Kramer thanks. I’ll just leave the thread until at home on FF3. Although I’m sure JB has done something worthy of such penance…

Agreed, Jb should type until his fingers are worn down into bloodied stumps for the good of the Riot!

Yep, but the October (and previous ones) display error free…?

In the previous ones JB has manually entered all of the numbering/ordering in plain text, whereas this month he has relied on the technology of an ordered list – which IE does not like for some reason…

JB – Feel like manually numbering 500 entries for our IE users? OK, I thought not. I’ll investigate further with Messrs Gates & Ballmer.

Seing though there is 56.44% and we out number… YES!!!!!! :-p

@primal re #259:
I forget half of the original ones, but Narrabundah involved using one person to install new one, and the other people all sat around trying to get high off the gas contained in the old one.

259. how many does it take to change a lightbulb at narrabundah

Well? Anyone?

Both “nightclub sex” and “night club sex”…
And “ferret cruelty” is in there, before the names of the two offenders…

Pimp my police car?

Appears that Kenja are checking for any rude comments, too.

Yep, but the October (and previous ones) display error free…?

IE 6.0.2900 suffers the same problem.

(Yes, I know it sucks, I hate it too, but I’m stuck with it if I want to eat)

I get the same here running IE7, but I don’t get it running Firefox.

Hint:
If you come along to a RiotACT event, I will probably have introduced myself by the time you’ve bought me a pint.

Score, this time around I rank 180.
My stalker is getting passionate, or there are now more of them.

That list isn’t five items long.

Also, for some reason there are no numbers at all on that list for me…

MMmmm… Someone’s been looking for me here too using my real name.

I knew it! You’re Jessica Wright!

Bwahahahahaha! If I was I’d at least have taken note of all the past comments regarding my dress sense! I’m only a handful of searches away from her on the list though.

I’m actually surprised ‘Canberra Brothel’ came in last on the list.
Maybe all the talk of Cheap Tarts and Porn Stars in a recent thread will draw more such searchers to RA now.

MMmmm… Someone’s been looking for me here too using my real name. Should I be alarmed and alert or just flattered?

Well those are bona-fide stalkers. And stalkers are absolute wankers, as any fule kno.

29. haunted canberra
30. “the crooked fiddle band” “merry muse” august 2008
31. philip medical centre
32. wanniassa medical centre

Seems to hit a vein of ye olde stories about here on the list. And very high up too, which is weird.

And ant, someone went looking for my real name up there and it wasn’t me!

ant, my real name has been searched on here, so I know who it is.

Sometimes I wonder why people would do it anyway, it’s not like they contribute.

Yeah, someone searching for a Riotact nym is obviously somethign different, but people searching for real names are, I suspect, the people themselves (or their lawyers).

ant, I’d like to agree with you (jokes aside), but I know that isn’t the case with me…

At least not being in the results means they might have gotten a life.

I reckon those name searches are people searching for personal relevance, or checking what people are saying about them (Jessica Wright, Potts etc).

Woohoo! My stalker’s got a new subject 🙂

wooo! someone is stalking me!

No 370. No, you can not. Grr.

Your banks gave you a savings/cheque card, use THAT. You can get cash out with that.

(I work in retail, give me a break..)

Looks like there are a few people stalking themselves this month.

370 is not exactly why I hang out with the riotact. That sounds like a question needing an answer.

All I can say is…

152. it was that way when i got here
