Bees.

Katter’s Party Candidate Steven Bailey set up a tent outside the ANU today to make a stand about arts and humanities cuts at the ANU.

In Canberra Tonight’s twitter account has posted a nice a photo of Stevens Tent Embassy for Humanities.

Did anyone swing by for a chat/lesson?

Done Chop71. I’ll put down $100 for a charity of the winner’s choice.

Putting money where his mouth is, for charity. Good man.

What I really like about the Katter party is this. If the KAP is serious about ending the Nanny State and treating Australian adults like, well, adults – then you have my vote.

P.S. Ditch the tent, use The Hat.

And just like that he goes from an eccentric to a joke.

In Wollongong Tonight (formerly WIN News) did a piece about it and called him “a colourful character”. Perhaps he was talking like a drunk.

Or maybe they confused him with the now famous Shouty Family Court guy who does his thing about 20m up the road.

As a politician, it appears Steven Bailey is certainly out standing in his field.

“Oh the Humanities!”

Is this an appeal to the grassroots movement? Or is it a case of a man who wears many hats?

🙂
Nice to see somebody put their money where their mouth is, but I don’t know how much luck you’ll have getting Chop to pay up if you win.
