Stolen Band Property

On Saturday night, a local band who does a lot of community unpaid gigs had their equipment stolen out the back of a car in Macarthur.

Unfortunately as we don’t get paid for most of the work we do, this equipment cannot be replaced and is being relied on for a lot of gigs over the next coming weeks leading up to Christmas in which we might now need to cancel.

Amonst the gear stolen was:
2 x Carvin powered PA Speakers
1 x Roland Keyboard
1 x Cable packer with 12ch multicore, XLR, Speakon cables, AKG drum mic kit, vocal mics, DI’s and power cables

If anyone saw ANYTHING suspicious on Saturday night please let me know. Anything at all, including a car idling for a long period of time, even a make and model or a license plate would help at the moment…
If someone has tried to sell you some high end audio equipment over the weekend that seemed a bit dodgy. Please let me know or contact the AFP.

As we all know, it can be the smallest lead that helps catch these people
We just want the equipment back in one peice and no charges will be laid.

Bummer. 🙁 Best of luck dude. I’m sure that if you guys explain your story to the nice people at Pro Audio/Better Music, they could help you out with some loaner equipment so that the show can go on.

Being that the cable packer was in excess of 30kg (took 2 of us to lift, difficultly) there had to be at least 2 prob 3 people carrying out the robbery. Would not of been a quiet opperation
