Police are seeking witnesses and footage after a stolen car was allegedly driven erratically in northern Canberra while it only had three wheels.
Last week, on 22 January, a white Toyota Corolla with ACT registration YDJ59T was stolen from a home in Evatt, an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
Then, at about 10:25 am the following day, 23 January, police received reports of the Corolla allegedly being driven erratically in Higgins with a tyre blown and travelling on one rim.
“A short time later, police located the Corolla on Betts Street, Higgins, with several youths surrounding the vehicle,” a police spokesperson said.
Police want to speak with anyone who witnessed or has dash-cam footage of the Corolla being driven erratically in the Higgins area between 10 am and 10:30 am on the morning of 23 January.
