Stolen white 1994 Holden from garage of house in Fisher

Yesterday, while my son and I were out at work, someone broke into our house by forcing a window with a key operated lock on it. While they were in the house picking over our things, they found a set of keys to my son’s white 1994 Holden, registered YDU 34M. They then loaded the car with all sorts of goodies and drove off, leaving the house and garage door open. We have had to replace all the locks because they had keys to our house.

I wonder if people could keep an eye open for the car, which wasn’t insured because he has a work vehicle. If you spot it, could you please call crime stoppers or give Nick a ring on 0424332989.

Sounds like a Sydney gang, went through a place in Watson of a friend of mine same modus operandi. If so chances of ever seeing car and possessions again = less than Abbott’s chances of turning into a reasonable human being, and that’s frickin as low as it’s possible to go.

Memo to all Canberrans who have a car locked up at home, always take the carkeys with your house keys and have the spare set in a secure location. I have my spare set behind a removable panel hung off an almost invisible piece of wire, they’d have to be forensics to find it…

Seems to be a few of these from that area, wasn’t there a bike stolen from a nearby suburb recently? Maybe it’s all related to that woden Valley/Tuggeranong smoke haze people were talking about.
