You miss the point entirely. The people “making an effort” have nothing to do with what I had to say.

Your all over the place…or is that fireplace…get real – well think before your keyboard runs away with your mouth and bag out the ACT Govt Tthere is a reason why control burns are in place and yes they do produce smoke. Think about your house up in smoke next fire season…………. You would be the first to complain about not enough being done……

As has been pointed out in another thread, a lot of planning goes into hazard reduction burns and this includes consideration of wind and weather conditions.

The home fireplace is used whenever the occupant feels the need. Wind, weather and inconvenience to others be damned.
