The Health Directorate is apologising for nearly killing one of their subcontractors:

The Health Directorate regrets that earlier today a subcontractor received a significant electric shock whilst working on site at Canberra Hospital.

An immediate emergency response was implemented by an internal medical team and the worker involved is now in a serious condition in Canberra Hospital.

Meh. She’s just venting because the evil cops locked up her son for the umpteenth time.

That’s akin to an AFP officer not dealing with a blatant crime in his own street because he’s clocked off for the day, which is quite frankly a ridiculous notion.

S*** happens.

There you go, Violet. Now you know how most people feel about squeegee men and people with grow houses who assault police then complain when they get shot. S*** happens. Or were you being sarcastic? I never can tell!

I’m sorry merlin, perhaps my vision needs checking but it appears that you think that someone that requires urgent medical attention IN A HOSPITAL after an incident IN A HOSPITAL could possibly, due to some buearocratic resource management, be taken from the hospital in which they have been injured to another hospital across town before they are treated.

Lucky guy. Had it happened at Calvary they would very likely have been on by-pass for emergency cases and he may well have died en-route to Canberra Hospital.

Shocking!
