The much anticipated lineup for this warm season’s Summer Rhythm Festival has been announced:

Summer Rhythm Festival

— 3 Days, 4 Stages, Over 75 Bands and DJs, Camping, Bars, Markets, Swimming areas
— Located at Goolabri Golf Club, literally only 9 mins from Dickson.
— Camping will be available for free for ticket holders. If Camping isn’t your cup of tea, then buses will be running to and from the festival to Civic and Dickson Every day.
— Over 18 event

The only band name I recognise after a quick scan is The Ellis Collective who I’d love to see again, but seem like they might be a little out of place.

What sort of music are we talking about here? I’m hoping with names like Salmonella Dub, The RockSteady and Dred that we might be heading for a weekend of (oh bliss!) reggae, ska, dub, and Caribbean coolness of all varieties.

I saw Jimmy Cliff in Sydney around 1990. Might be the best gig I’ve ever been to in my life.

The Bird make you dance till you burn holes in your socks.
