Boom boom!

Guerilla: What no minkeys?

I was making a joke about the ‘of islander appearance’ ‘gorilla’ quip. Guess it didn’t come across too good.

Yes, kicking someone in the head is no way to control crowds, even though some of those d*ckheads would have earned a kicking in all honesty.

DMD,

Didn’t look too much like a riot. More like a very heavily built individual using his weight to neuter opposition.

Please don’t try to suggest this individual was attempting to regain control of an awkward situation.

Kicking someone in the head is attempted morder!

‘Why is this gorilla not up before a court for attempted murder?’

Which riot were you at, cranky?

Generally if your belly button lives between your breasts then its best to keep that to yourself

Gold.

Poolroom!

WIN has shown footage of a gentleman best described as ‘of islander appearance’ kicking a punter in the head, having previously given him a fair thumping.

Chic reckons this ‘security guard’ will never work at Summernats again.

Why is this gorilla not up before a court for attempted murder?

I am one of the guys in yellow shirts standing next to the tent behind the blue crummydore in the first clip (ie, Nats employee). That was about as bad as the mob got in behaviour throught the early evening, and it dissipated before dark. It did grow to about 300 people, but was also only at about 50 people at times. The front runners were the instigators, and it is very true that the ones at the back had no idea why they were really there. The front of the mob was chanting “Bring back the skid” in response to a tougher ruling on burnouts on the cruise circuit this year in the interest of public safety, and at the back of the mob they were chanting “Show us your tits” cos they thought that’s what the others were saying. I wish to congratulate the 99.9% of Summernats security staff for their efforts in containment, and not acting in aggression, towards what could have been a much uglier incident.

Does yelling “tits or rubber: one or the other” qualify that group as a flash mob?

That was the most ruly mob I’ve ever seen.

Is that Sue Ellen Mischke? the Braless Wonder from Seinfeld.

i read a quote from an article somewhere (forgive me that i can’t remember where it was to provide a reference) where one of the mob members was asked what the purpose of the mob was. and they didn’t even know, they just thought it looked fun. says it all i think!

I would have paid anything to see someone run down that crowd. But seriously, we don’t want to be running around in mobs, drunk and shirtless shouting ‘aussie aussie aussie” anymore. Those d*ckheads at Cronulla f-ked that favored past-time up for us.

According to this News.com.au snippet:
1) On Saturday night a drunken mob of up to 400 men overran the annual car festival, identifying women by their clothing, before surrounding them and chanting “Get your tits out”

2) Katy Gallagher (this week posing as the Minister For Women, next week she may be the Minister Against Women) is saying
festival organisers could be subject to legal action for breaches of the ACT’s anti-discrimination laws…
and
subject to legal action by women who were victims of the crowd’s behaviour, or by women who were unwilling to attend the festival for fear of harassment

So 1) there are no attractive women at Summernats, because they can only be differentiated from the men by their choice of clothing.
Maybe they need to comb their mullets differently?

2)Attractive women don’t attend Summernats currently because they are scared that they may be harrassed after showing off their breasts. They can undertake legal action so that they can attend and show off their breasts without fear of subsequent harassment, if Katy has anything to do about it.

Generally if your belly button lives between your breasts then its best to keep that to yourself

My only comment is that some of those ‘chicks’ should keep their breasts well and truly under cover.

I have seen some ugly hooters in my time, but some of those take the cake!

For an angry mob, they seem a tad passive…
