Sunday night incident?

I was coming back to Canberra from Murrumbatman at about 10.15 on Sunday night.

Around half way back I passed 5 police cars with their lights flashing, travelling at high speed in convoy heading away from Canberra.

I figured it’d have to be something significant but I haven’t seen anything in the news. Does anyone know what it was about?

nope heard it once as murder on 106 but nothing since. police were still parked in garage yesterday

At a guess it was probably a suicide, which don’t tend to get reported on.

No news but that seems par for the course in Canberra. Saturday night a man was supposedly found murdered on Goyder Street Narrabundah but nothing reported by police media and neighbours apparently not notified.. It did appear briefly on 106 news last night. Another incident (car accident I believe) closing Yamba Drive again on Saturday evening also went unreported. Canberra incidents are highly secretive it seems and the public is best left uninformed perhaps.
