A big tree crushed the bus “shelter” at the Braddon Northbourne flats, it would have seriously injured anyone in there and definitely caused damage to cars. it was a good call to close the lane.

Ever had a large tree stove in the top of your car? They tend to leave a large impression on your mind. Winds are forecast up to 25km/hr and reportedly there are already a couple of trees down.

Confirmed.
From the Dickson intersection (Mouat/Antill) all the way to Haig Park section.

When it was still open around 2pm they were clearing some trees next to the road. I guess they deemed that the work required the space of the whole road to complete it. Based on the amount of debris they had it could take them an hour or two.

In a nutshell:
– Don’t drive out of town to go on a scenic drive
– Use other means than Majura Rd to get to and from the airport.

The End.

It seems to be raining just as hard today as yesterday :/
