Super 12 closes and only three can claim victory

Last night the Super12 era ended.

Sure, there’s going to be a Super14 next year. But can you tell me the winners of the Super10? Off the top of my head I know that perennial hapless wankers Queensland were once champions in that little remembered era. So it’s time for one last look back at the Super12 Champions.

Canterbury – Won 5
Auckland – Won 3
Australian Capital Territory – Won 2.

NSW failed to make the list last night (planet-rugby have good coverage here). And if any Sydney-siders are wandering onto this story then guys, I can tell you the cheering for Canterbury in the Dickson Tradies was pretty full throated.

Sure, there was a section of the audience who felt national pride overcame their hatred of you. But there weren’t many.

Anyway a new era awaits.

My point exactly

The Pansies knew before kickoff of the last season game that a win without a bonus point would give the same result as a loss, second place. After scoring 3 tries and having 20 minutes to go they repeatedly went for penalty goals rather than kicking for touch and using the most dominate jumpers in the comp (bloody traitors) and getting the forth try.

They are either idiots of the grandest order, or couldn’t give a stuff about their fans, or both.

You may not care JB but the ARU does

I don’t think you’ll find it was the Waratahs choice, rather the fact that they didnt get bonus point (or some such) in the final game led to the GF at Jade

and I’m sure those 100,000 fans would have loved the chance to go to the game themselves vg, but the Pansies decided they would rather play the game in Christchurch and screw over all their fans

gotta love a team that thinks like that, not

As if we’ve ever cared what those pricks think

Last I checked the Waratahs beat the Brumbies this year. Sound like a pack of sore losers to me. I think the 20 or so in the Tradies might have been a tad outnumbered by the 100,000 or so in pubs and clubs across Sydney doing otherwise.

The Brumbies lack of adequately prepared depth was shown this year

I’ve never cheered so hard for a Kiwi team in my life…well done to the Crusaders. Suck big ones to the hapless ten time loser pansies!

As an aside what your thoughts on the current tradies layout?

I like the way it’s opened up the space but the path you have to take from the entrance is a bit anoying.

I’d rather be a Pansie than a Tah

I bet the Tah’s are really happy this morning that they decided to play the Grand Final in Christchurch rather than Sydney

Losers
