Well maybe not quite. It’s the Canberra Park Flyers putting a Hobby City F-18 through its paces.

Cool toy with that ducted fan though.

First flyer, hard to beat the ElectroFun from Toys R Us. It’s $150. Includes batteries, charger, controller, spare wing. Almost impossible to destroy. Very easy to fly for beginners. Though even for veterans it’s still heaps of fun. With a decent head of speed (from a dive) you can even do loops.”

Almost impossible… but still possible

Visit Toyworld in Fyshwick, stock up on spare wings for the Electrofun (not too pricey). I’m on my 5th set – the first two were very mangled after the first flight.”

Thanks for the info.
I’ve already got a multi-purpose charger and 6 channel radio, was thinking about one of those ARF jobs. One that just needs the battery and receiver installed after I assemble it.
Recommendations?

Looked great. Not quite the Canberra Bomber, but a lot of fun I’ll bet.

Now I want to finish my camera drone…

V E R Y cool!
Not suitable for a beginner though? I’ve been thinking about something like that – don’t have any aero experience yet.

Sometimes it sounds awesome, then other times it sounds like a hair dryer.

I was just thinking to myself “needs arrestor cables…” then someone said it.

Cool video, but you missed a great opportunity to lay some “highway to the danger zone” over the top of it.

…and an opportunity to bring in a Kelly Mcgillis cameo!

Very nice. What’s the weight incl. battery?
