Supreme Court Says No to Simon’s scrutiny avoidance measures

The ABC reports that Canberra Airport Group is going to be able to pursue its legal action over strange way the Epicentre tendering was handled (“if you ask the magic question we’ll give you the magic answer”).

Justice Malcolm Gray handed down his judgement today, ruling that regulations in the Planning Act preventing appeals over commercial land are invalid.

Making invalid regulations? Why are we not surprised?
