My wife started her SureSlim program about 10 days ago and her first appointment was suposed to be last weekend, however she received a message saying don’t come in as they will be closed due to administration?

Does anyone else go here and been in contact with them since the weekend?

The national SureSlim office doesn’t seem to have any information.

This morning I got up and thought to myself I’m going to join sure slim, maybe they can help with the hormones and the metabolic slackness. Boy am I glad I wondered onto your site! I think I’ll stick to Weight Watchers and my regular doctor.
I know this isn’t much consolation for those of you that have already been burnt (it has happened to me on other things)but it really does pay to do some googling before joining anything these days.

Well i am not the only one then. I have been trying to get my money back for nearly 17 months from these people. They had taken $900.00 gave me a diet and see ya later. No support the diet made me sick and this diet is just not for everyone. I am so angry that they have done this to people lets contact ACA im all for it.

IS anyone who has lost their money through the belconnen sureslim closure be interested in teaming up with me to fight this to the end? Thinking of contacting A current affair soon and maybe they can get someone to at least talk with us. Please contact me if you are interested and tell me about your story.

Petro and Calvin Tulloch should be locked up for fraud. They have ruined many peoples lives.
They are crooks. If anyone knows their information they should post it up on any and all of the forums that are trying to expose them. They have money.

The people you need to contact is Petro and Calvin Tulloch, the owners of SureSlim International, and SureSlim Australia (caretakers they call themselves). Just take a look at NZ, in 2008/2009 almost all of the clinics were forced into closure by the so called franchise system sureslim runs. No clinic is safe from this fraudulent business model, you will need to go to your local consumer department, but if it is anything like NZ you wont see one cent back, dont get sucked into thinking the people at the top are out of money, they are not, post again if you want any more info,

I am out of options on what to do so am looking at calling Consumer Affairs tomorrow to see if there is any other avenue I can take. Talk about feel like a sucker!

If you speak to Consumer Affairs it would be great if you let us know

Here’s our latest email back from SureSlim after a followup email:

We are so sorry that you have had this very poor experience with the clinic in Belconnen. We are the company that supplies the SureSlim Program to the various suppliers, like Belconnen, and we were also burnt badly when they closed their doors unexpectedly, owing us a great deal of money.

As we are very concerned about the welfare of all SureSlim clients, we have set up an online/telephonic service for clients like yourself with a consultant of five years’ experience. Her name is Irene. We are providing this service at our own cost even though we did not receive any money for the programs as we certainly do not want you to lose out or become negative about your program and thus lose your momentum.

Can you please provide us with your full contact details so that Irene can contact you, as well as the time you enrolled and the amount of consultations that you paid for?

We wish you all the best.

Kind regards

Still waiting to hear back 🙁

Jenko – That’s shocking!

I can only hope for you and others that it gets sorted quickly.

Good luck.

I am also with this clinic (Belconnen) and have not been told that the doors were closed however have found out through the message left on their answering machine.

I am not sure if any one has contacted your wife yet in regard to details etc?? I have not been contacted and was told by head office in Penrith that I was to send an email to ‘info@sureslim.com.au’ however have not had a response from them after two emails in two weeks. I can not tell you how disappointed I am that no one has let me know what the details are or even if I can get my wellness diet (which I was about to start).

What I am more disappointed about is the fact that I have paid for the program on financing and as such am still paying my fortnightly contributions to the credit company with out the service. After I contacted the financing company this week they were told they are unaware of anything out of the oridinary with the company however what do they care as I am paying them the amount and can only cease this payment if SURESLIM cancel my contract and pay the financing company the money remaining…. I am out of options on what to do so am looking at calling Consumer Affairs tomorrow to see if there is any other avenue I can take. Talk about feel like a sucker! However I have to say I have got a good results out of the program and am surprised by the email response below about Amy and Lindsay Luttrell as that is not the impression I had of them at all.

If I hear anything else I am sure to let you know.

EA Active sports for the Wii is also very highly recommended!

operations being streamlined, pockets being fattened.

I lost 48kg on Cohen’s over nine months and I’ve kept it off for three years, although I will always have to work at it.

Whilst I can’t eat whatever I want without weight gain, I can certainly eat whatever I want with no digestive issues whatsoever.

Get a Nintendo WII Fit, I bought my missus one for her birthday a few weeks ago & she’s lost 5kg already…

Her back pain has abated also…

They’re probably just streamlining their operations.

Maybe they’re downsizing.

They must be tightening their belts.

They’re definitely not Going for Growth

but it totally stuffs up your system for many years after. i had massive problems after it with my digestive system, as have other people i have spoken to. you basically have to eat their way for the rest of your life, and it is very extreme. i still cant eat a cruskit…

sureslim is really expensive too. i hope you get your money back, but i doubt it.

Not surprised. Any so-called “diet program” which involves drinking chocolate milkshakes would never be any good.

I dont believe this is one of those, sureslim is a good program that explains a lot about how your body processes food. Dr Cohens is similar.
I’ve known several people to have good long lasting results with both.

SureSlim Australia closed in January. Since that time, a lot of the SureSlim franchises have been closing all around Australia, as there has been no national support, no advertising, etc…

The owners are prepared to guide people through the program in their own time i believe, but just not from the premises as it will be handed over to an Administrator.

fyi.

It doesn’t seem like SureSlim Australia has closed as their national office is still open and taking call and emails.

And speaking of emails we got a reply from the national office:

We received a very short note from the owners of the Belconnen clinic that they have placed their clinic in the hands of an administrator. Needless to say they also owe us a great deal of money and this came as a great shock to us. We are the suppliers of the SureSlim program to distributors, like Amy and Lindsay Luttrell of the Belconnen clinic and we did not receive your money, instead the Luttrells did. We have requested the name of the administrator from them but have had no response.

The note said that all creditors would be receiving a letter from the administrator in due course – we assume you will fall under that category as well.

It is so unfortunate that we, and a lot of other hard working people, all have the name of SureSlim in common even though we are not related in any way, as it gives the people who do the right thing a really bad name as well.

We apologise on their behalf and wish you every success.

If you like you can contact us again in a few weeks’ time. Hopefully we will by then have had contact from the administrator and we will pass the details on to you for you if you like.

We are in the process of setting up an online support system which should be operational by 26 June. Please contact us after this date for the full details.

In the mean time, please feel free to contact us on this email address regarding any questions you have about your program.

Kind regards

I wondered if we will ever see our money back 🙁

Walked past their door in CISAC this morning and noted the sign there saying same – Closed due to Administration.
