The Canberra Times is reporting that the all clear has been sounded and that the mysterious package contained only CDs.

Which begs the question as to which band’s CDs could have led to a mass evacuation…..

Which *poses* the question ~~

PS Couldn’t have happened to nicer people. They’ll probably all just cycle home to their $800,000 homes in O’Connor and wait for their feed-in tariff cheques to roll in until this blows over.

sure, and everyone in the resources department has more wealth than gina rinehart ’cause they all have uranium mines and no-one is ever sick in the health department or if they are they immediately recover because they have access to secret remedies and everyone in the treasury takes what they need for big up parties and new cars every week while all those public servants in defence drive home to their bunkers in a tank…

such informed opinions make this forum great.

Strange, ACT Police said ‘The Department of Climate Change and Efficiency has been evacuated’.

In fact One floor only was evacuated.

I remember when parly House was getting hit often with anthrax scares. The feds were to embarrassed to let on it was soup powder, chicken soup powder. But I guess an hour outside on the grass while the feds figured out if it was chicken or onion would be a good break.

Rain and Taxman by The Beatles
Hot In the City by Billy Idol
anything by Anthrax
and It’s the End of the World As We Know It by REM.

Another non-suspicious suspicious package circus.

Reminds of the the evacuation of the whole Infrastructure building back in 2009 (??) because of some talc powder found in the mail room.

If it was a white powder incident, you might see some hapless public servants standing in the blow-up shower, clothes and all. I’ve seen that a few times.

I only approve of blow-up showers, clothes and all, if both chicks are hot.

Great. Now we are going to get a totally pointless tax on anthrax.

No doubt Monkton and Jones are waiting to see if Satan himself exits the building.

I believe it’s climate change these days. The ATO moved some time ago.

Looks like the ATO is our main suspect.

Now with comment from ACT Policing.

Yep, Climate Change on the right side of picture and someone else on the left side, can’t remember who. Customs maybe?

That doesn’t really narrow the number of suspects down, given how fanatical both sides of the climate debate can be…

Given it’s the ATO, doesn’t that mean there would be something like 22 million suspects?

I believe it’s climate change these days. The ATO moved some time ago.
