Three cars were torched in Monash last night and Police have labelled the incident as suspicious while appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

ACT Policing and ACT Fire and Rescue were called to a house in Monash last night at around 10:20 pm and found three cars alight.

All three vehicles suffered extensive damage despite the fires being extinguished quickly.

Police are asking if anyone in the area saw any suspicious activity between 9:30 pm and 11:00 pm, or if any residents have dash-cam footage of the area that may be able to help their investigation.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist Police should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.

Having sent an email to the Attorney General about these matters and getting no response I would have to assume they either don’t know how to fix it or don’t care. They continue to refuse to give the police all the tools to address this issue and in the meantime our suburbs are becoming less safe.

How many of these crimes have to happen in Tuggeranong before the police and ACT government start making a much bigger commitment to resolve the ongoing attacks and violence????

It’s beyond ridiculous now.
