Tagger with a sense of whimsy?

Normally I’d be the first to condemn taggers as the lowest of the low. The human equivalent of dogs weeing on lamp posts, only without the house training, uglier, and harder to clean up after.

But this one on City Walk took my fancy. For a start the bloon is rather well done. Also I’m a bit of a fan of the bloons series of flash games. And let’s face it. Getting that tag on up there would have been a bit trickier than defacing the door to a community hall.

With such a legible and recognisable tag though, a real danger of getting caught if they keep it up!

People who deface private property like this should have their balls chopped off.

A family member of mine recently paid a large amount of money to have the walls of his business professionally painted and new signwriting – within days it had tags all over it.

This is someone’s private property, if the owner wanted a balloon painted on it they would have done so themselves.

It would be funnier if the trail of paint went down the building towards the ground..

How the hell did they get up there ?

There’s some mob in Calwell who keep tagging ‘2905’ on things. 2905 is the postcode. It’s very unoriginal.

i wonder if the tagger knows of the flash games (i didn’t, f’rinstance) – but it has a little of the banksy about it. cute…

Acknowledgement and praise such as this is precisely the motivating factor for such vandals.

That’s true.

In fact, you’ve almost inspired me to do something better.

Extra points for difficulty hey?

Leave it with me.
