If you look at it from the right angle you can (or at least you could a few days ago) see a gap in the covering revealing a shiny metal surface underneath. Looks like more art to me.

Well, at least it will give the patrons of Academy night club something to upchuck on after a big night.

*facepalm* OH NO, NOT ANOTHER ONE.

The best part about it is that this new piece of public art is blocking the fire control box for the building. There are nice big “keep clear” signs on the doors next to it. I would like to see the looks on the faces of the fire fighters the next time they get called to that building – particularly before the launch of the sculpture while it has the fencing around it.

Yes guys, it’s art – not sure when it’s due to be unveiled but the DA was lodged with ACTPLA a couple of weeks back.

Obviously! Better than some of the other “Art” that we’ve forked out $’s for,

They have been bubble wrapped like that for over a week but this morning there was black plastic around the fence hiding what’s inside.

Perhaps it’s awaiting a Chief Ministerial public art unveiling.

No way could it be a ‘real’ tree. Must be a sculpture of some sort.

They aint trees!

Unless they intend on having them die really quick as the concrete goes all the way to the trunks!

Is it even a tree?
