ACT Policing has seized three firearms and a quantity of illicit drugs following a warrant executed at a residence in Isabella Plains last Friday afternoon (September 20).

Criminal Investigations detectives executed a search warrant in relation to the shots fired incident in August at the Tatts On Tatts Off tattoo parlour.

During the warrant police seized three unregistered firearms and a quantity of illicit drugs suspected to be cannabis, ecstasy and methylamphetamine.

None of the firearms seized were used in the incident at the tattoo parlour.

Detective Sergeant Anthony Brown said this is an example of ACT Policing’s dedication to removing illicit firearms from Canberra streets.

“Criminal Investigations detectives are continuing to work hard to ensure illicit firearms are taken off the streets as the highest priority,” Detective Sergeant Brown said.

Investigations into the incident at Tatts On Tatts Off are ongoing.

Three unregistered firearms? Jeez that’s bad news. I hate to think of drug addled crims packing heat and walking around our community.

I really hope this ends in custodial sentences for the owners.
