The mohawk must’ve looked a little flaccid when Algy Ward hooked up with The Damned. Or were you still too busy, dribbling over yourself, getting fleeced by vanian & the rest of malcolm’s rejects, that you didn’t even notice?

I fail to see cause and effect there? An Aussie getting a musical education by a Great British Punk band is a good thing, (and they let him play on one of punk’s greatest albums, fair play to him.) He now lives in Kent, the quintessential English county.

I had to go to youtube to find this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFvhd–qDDU

Dear, dear, very derivative isn’t it?

Calm down there, princess.
You made the statement. Just live with being the old bingo lady looking down her bi-focals at those horrible kids today with their tattoos and the swearing..

I was tattooed before they were born mate, back when it was a daring thing to do. I was gobbed on and had a beer with Rat Scabies of the Damned. Dave Vanian still owes me five quid.

Kids today, boring…..

Ben, you’re a legend. We should get together and gob on each other sometime.

The first record I ever bought as a teenager was Never Mind the Bollocks, closely followed by Know Your Product by The Saints, and Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned a few weeks later. I’ve taught my son to play guitar, and we covered “Smash it Up” a few weeks ago. He thought it was cool.

Old people with tatts, eh. Fancy that. 🙂

Oh so you are all for gobbing on each other but against pooing on each other?

Errmmm…well, yes. Quite emphatically in fact. There’s just some things, you know. And I’m not even all that into the gobbing bit, truth be known. I’d rather just drink beer and listen to the guitars and drums. But don’t let me stop you from engaging in….in…in whatever you want to engage in between consenting adults. 🙂

I love you bro, but you can be such a prude.

The Saints’ (I’m) Stranded was released in 1976, whats your excuse?

I never was a fan of pub rock.

The phrase “What a shame such a pretty young thing went and got those hideous tattoos” sounds a hell of a lot like you are s***ting on her for having tattoos….

Well I am not responsible for your emotional response to my feeling she had done herself a disservice. I did not s*** on her, I offered my thoughts, want me to have a go at s***ing on her?

Really, if you think a mild mannered and non-derogatory statement of that nature constitutes s***ing on someone, you obviously do not get out much.

Oh dear, another deep non-thinker. I do not s*** on people with tattoo, I was first tatted in 1981. I made a comment on one persons tattoos.

You are either full of it, were just another sheep following a trend, or completely missed the point of punk.

So from my declaring I was a punk, one of the originals, you have determined that ; “just another sheep following a trend, or completely missed the point of punk,” really?

Please inform me oh wise one, how you reach this conclusion.

I remember punk, (I should I was one,) back when it was fresh original and exciting. I had a mohawk in 1979. What a shame such a pretty young thing went and got those hideous tattoos, one can only hope they are temporary.

My first thought was along similar lines however then I thought she probably appeals to her target audience.

there is actually a guy with a mohawk – retro punk!

Anyone know which band is singing the song in the video? Sounds a bit like a hyped up Green Day, but nothing wrong with that
