The Canberra Times reports that the Raiders’ star player Terry Campese has managed to get himself arrested outside the legenday Walsh’s Hotel in Queanbeyan.

It appears that he was booted out of the bar for unspecified misdemeanours and then didn’t take the hint and go home leading to a charge of “excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises”.

His representative future is now under review

Considering that, if he was remaining in the vicinity and doing *anything else wrong at all*, there’d be other charges that could be laid, this charge looks woefully pathetic.
But, given that it was the NSW coppers, hardly surprising.

He’s been cleared
to play

And here’s the Raiders official statement.

I give this effort 1 out of 10 Carneys.

Arrested for “remaining in the vicinity of licensed premises after being excluded”?

This sounds serious…very serious. Have informed the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Seriously…how can the Prime Minister be out of the country at a time like this?
