Joy Burch is letting us know the wondrous news that the ACT Youth Commitment has been signed:
Ms Burch said the Commitment establishes a clear goal for stakeholders – from schools right through to employers – to ensure that young people can easily engage in further education, training or employment. To date, more than 130 stakeholders have ‘signed on’.
“Those organisations that have signed on so far represent public and non-government schools, other educational institutions, registered training organisations, youth support agencies, business and government agencies – and the community.”
One wonders how we got by before.
