We’ve had a slew of photos sent in by Mark with this note:

Hi RiotACT

I’m a regular visitor to Canberra and always make time on trips over to take photos of the beautiful city and surrounds. I have a few Canberra friends that are always emailing me links to pics on RiotACT and telling me that mine don’t look that those!! So I wonder if you would be able to publish a couple of mine if you think they are up to scratch. Please let me know if you need them in bigger resolution as I scaled them down a bit so they’d fit in this email. The file names are pretty self explantory but let me know if you need more information for publishing.

Thanks for considering my photos.

Very nice. I especially like the light through the trees, and the reflections on the water.

It’s so easy to get around on automatic without noticing how beautiful Canberra really is. Checking out the images on this site has been giving me a new appreciation for my surroundings.

Nice Photos!!
Well done Adelaide – we love you too!

Love the lake ones. I miss riding along that lake now I work close to home.

The lack of people in these pics adds a touch of Chernobyl-like creepiness… or perhaps just a fitting commentary on the pulse of Canberra. Either way there are some pretty pics in the set.

I’m just glad there are people who come to Canberra without all the usual bleating the same tune of it being boring and understanding how great the city can be.

Then again Mark from Adelaide probably deals with the same crap about Adelaide obver and over again. Some nice photos, that I never thought to take myself either!
